May the FOURTH be with you!

Photos were taken at the first ever Comic Con in Vancouver.
From this peak that overlooks the entire island, everything feels so small and distant. Just like the way all my worries seem so irrelevant when I’m close to my Father in heaven.
My Easter weekend was well spent with loved ones in Victoria, an hour drive and an hour ferry boat ride from Vancouver. Most people would regard this place as a place for retirement, where things are chill and slow and well.. boring for youngER ones. As it is with a lot of stereotypes, it really depends on whose perspective it is.
We had quite an adventure in the island. From zipping through tree tops and tarzan rope swings to tarantulas and scorpions to whales and sealions.. it was quite a jampacked weekend!
This was the view from my window on the ferry on our way back. It was a perfect way to cap off our 2-day getaway.

The tragedy of the 21st century is that everyone is in a hurry, and so to contribute a little something to modern day living, I’m trying my best not to hurry the seasons.. (not that it would help, but whatever helps me sleep better at night right?)
It was nice to see people wake up from their winter slumber during the first official weekend of spring. So what if you still have to wear cashmeres under light jackets. The spring dresses can wait.
