Most people would regard this place as a place for retirement, where things are chill and slow and well.. boring for youngER ones. As it is with a lot of stereotypes, it really depends on whose perspective it is.</p> <p>We had quite an adventure in the island. From zipping through tree tops and tarzan rope swings to tarantulas and scorpions to whales and sealions.. it was quite a jampacked weekend!</p> <p>This was the view from my window on the ferry on our way back. Otherwise, planning a trip is just plain STRESSFUL! It is not meant to be done alone.</p> <p>Looking forward to my third visit to my sister’s home, San Francisco- definitely one of my favourite places in the world. Page-turner</p> <p>2. Heartbreaking </p> <p>To wait for something so long, and to remember all that longing is worse than any kind of physical pain. I’m glad I do not believe in reincarnation.</p> <p>The story is basically a century-long tale of longing by a man who can remember all of his past lives. It was to him a blessing as much as it was a curse.</p> <p>At the last page of this book, I was hoping there would be an epilogue of some sort- good sign, but you are left to wonder what happened next. This, to me, is cruelty (also can be attributed to my lack of imagination these days).
